My guest today
was diagnosed with Celiac Disease almost 10 years ago, about 2 years before heading off to university. In university
she ended up was being assigned to live on campus
with another Celiac. Her college roommate
was diagnosed before turning 2 years old, so she taught her
a lot of what she knows
about Celiac Disease today!
Her brand, My Celiac Life, has
the largest following for a Celiac account on Instagram and she is
continually being recognized for her hard work: she is this year’s
recipient of the Notable’s Food Influencer of the
Year award. Tarryn is making a huge difference in the lives of
those with celiac disease, providing gluten-free resources within
the community.
My chat with Tarryn, we talk about the biggest challenge she
has found while traveling gluten-free, her favorite Toronto
restaurants and places she recommends for anyone visiting Toronto
for the first time.
